Booking Terms and Conditions

1. All booking deposits are completely non-refundable and should be made payable to Skydive Sensations.This cover various administration costs including assisting you to find an airfield where you may carry out your jump. Such booking deposits are valid for twelve months from the date of booking and should the jumper not be able to complete their jump due to inclement weather conditions alternative arrangements will be made. 'Open dated' gift vouchers may be redeemed at any time within this twelve month period.

2. If the weather be unsuitable for jumping on the day it is up to the jumper to arrange with the centre prior to leaving, a date to return complete their jump.

3. Any remaining balance must be paid for on the day of your training even if you are unable to jump due to weather conditions.

4. In the case of gift vouchers the costs indicated on this website is composed of a £50 non-refundable booking fee, any amount purchased above this will be passed on by Skydive Sensations to the relevant parachute centre which will go towards the cost of the training and jump and who are solely responsible for these elements.

5.After receiving your deposit Skydive Sensations will take all reasonable steps to arrange the jump at your nearest available parachute centre on the day of your choice but due to circumstances beyond our control we may have to offer an alternative date or location due to availability at some centres. Skydive Sensations acts as your agent in arranging for the jump and not as the agent for the parachute centre. Skydive Sensations use only those parachute centres, which are affiliated to the British Parachute Association as the National Governing Body of the sport. Accordingly, no representations or warranties of any kind are made by Skydive Sensations as to the suitability, capability, and quality of training or operation of any parachute centre. Any queries or complaints with regards to these aspects should be referred to the parachute centre concerned.

Medical Restrictions

For a tandem skydive the jumper must be at least 16 years old and be under 15 stone in weight. For static line jumps the jumper must be aged between 16 and 50 and under 15 stone for a square parachute jump (with their weight in proportion to their height). Please note some centres have lower weight limits - please contact for more details.

The principal medical restrictions for all jumps are diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness and some cases of asthma but if you are in any doubt please check the medical form and seek medical advice from your doctor. All jumpers are required to sign a medical form before their jump declaring their fitness to take part - this can be sent to you or downloaded from the web site. Those under the age of 18 will need the medical form signed by a parent or guardian; those aged 40 and over will need it signed by their doctor.

Insurance

Once full payment has been made to the relevant parachute centre the jumper will be covered by the British Parachute Association liability insurance policy upto £2000000 for liability to third parties PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT COVER THE JUMPER OR THERE DEPENDANTS FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH therefore we strongly recommend that the jumper take out there own personal accident cover that they think appropriate they can do this via there own personal insurance broker or further details can be supplied by us upon request

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Parachuting is an adventure sport and participation in such sports necessarily involves a risk of injury or death regardless of the standard of training, supervision and equipment employed. I voluntarily accept all the risks inherent in the sport and I agree for myself and my personal representatives to indemnify and hold harmless Skydive Sensations against any claim or claims whether on my own account or from third parties arising out of any accident or incident resulting in any loss or damage (including bodily injury and death).

By completing your booking on-line you are confirming that you have read all the above sections marked Booking Terms and Conditions, Medical Restrictions, Insurance and Important Notice, and understand and agree to be bound to those terms and conditions and to comply fully with the same.
